Calvin Goetz and Andrew Rafal are Partners and Co-Founders of Strategy Advisory Group. They each bring over a decade of experience in the retirement, insurance and estate planning industry and are considered two of the top fixed and indexed annuity planning specialists in the nation. Additionally, both are members of the Million Dollar Round Table's Top of the Table, an exclusive forum for the world's most successful life insurance and financial services professionals.
Calvin Goetz
Prior to becoming an independent advisor, Calvin worked for a large retirement planning firm where he served as Managing Director of the Tucson division. Additionally, Calvin was responsible for hiring, training and mentoring new advisors who typically averaged several million dollars of production within 12 months of hire.
Calvin is a firm believer in leveraging technology to build his business and has prioritized online annuity lead generation as a key part of his personal production strategy. Originally from Tucson and a proud graduate of Northern Arizona University, Calvin is an avid runner who has competed nationally in numerous 5k and 10k races.
Andrew Rafal
Prior to becoming an independent advisor, Andrew worked as Senior Vice President for a large retirement planning firm where he garnered “Top 10” honors among several top carriers. He has also been a featured speaker at industry conferences and actively collaborates with top advisors in the industry at annual awards conferences.
Andrew has worked with hundreds of clients in helping to create the right retirement plans and hosts his own weekly radio program, Safe Money Radio, in the Phoenix market. Originally from the Midwest, Andrew holds a degree in Finance from Miami University in Ohio and studied Business at the London School of Economics. In his free time, Andrew and his wife, Jules, love exploring and hiking in Arizona. They are also actively involved in fundraising for Scottsdale Healthcare system’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
